Removing Aude for Slack From a Channel
Aude allows you to customize which channels it analyzes for performance management insights. If you no longer want Aude to include a specific channel in its evaluations, you can easily remove it from the app's purview. Here's how to do it:
Open the Aude.ai App: In your Slack workspace, navigate to the Apps section in the left sidebar. Click on "Aude.ai" to open the app's interface.
Locate the Channel Management Section: Once in the Aude.ai app, you'll see a section titled "Channels where Aude is active:" This list shows all the channels currently being analyzed by Aude.
Identify the Channel to Remove: In the list of active channels, find the channel you wish to remove from Aude's analysis.
Remove the Channel: You'll see a "Remove" button next to each channel name. Click this button for the channel you want to exclude from Aude's performance management evaluations.
Confirmation: The channel will be immediately removed from the list of active channels. There's no additional confirmation step, so be sure you want to remove the channel before clicking.
Add Channels (Optional): If you want to add a new channel to replace the one you've removed, you can use the "Select a channel to add Aude:" dropdown menu at the bottom of the channel list.

Locate the Channel Management Section: In the Aude.ai app interface, scroll down to the bottom of the "Channels where Aude is active:" list.
Find the Add Channel Option: You'll see a dropdown menu labeled "Select a channel to add Aude:"
Select a Channel: Click on the dropdown menu to see a list of available channels in your workspace that Aude is not currently analyzing.
Choose the Desired Channel: From the dropdown list, select the channel you want to add to Aude's analysis.
Confirm Addition: Aude will automatically be added once you select a channel. The newly added channel should appear in the "Channels where Aude is active:" list above.
Verify Addition: You can confirm that Aude has been successfully added by checking if the new channel appears in the active channels list with a "Remove" button next to it.

Steps to Remove Aude for Slack
Access the Aude.ai App: In your Slack workspace, navigate to the Apps section in the left sidebar and click "Aude.ai" to open the app's interface.
Go to the About Menu: Within the Aude.ai app interface, locate and click on the "About" menu option.
Access Configuration: In the About menu, find and select the "Configuration" option.
Open Web Configuration Page: This action will open a web page outside Slack, specifically for Aude configuration.
Locate Remove App Option: Find the "Remove App" option on this web configuration page.
Initiate Removal: Click on the "Remove App" button.
Confirm Removal: You will be prompted to confirm this action. Read any warnings carefully before proceeding.
Acknowledge Data Deletion: This action will delete all Aude-related data from your workspace.
After Removal
All Aude integrations across your Slack channels will cease to function.
Aude will no longer have access to any of your Slack data.
All insights, reports, and analytics Aude generates for your workspace will be permanently deleted.
If you decide to reinstall Aude in the future, you will start with a clean slate – no historical data or insights will be carried over.
Considerations
Before removing the app, consider exporting any valuable insights or reports you wish to retain.
